Business Card Scanner (OCR) App Reviews

It works WELL by scanning vertically. Recognized all text lines well, even at bad light. Problem is, when importing to (german version of) adressbook BS(OCR) crashes without executed transfer. Dear developers: Please give it a check. Your app is quite good but not really usable these days. I use a 3Gs16w.

I took a clear picture of a business card with VERY large clear helvetixa type and it didnt get one word right. I want my $0.99 back. What a rip off!

Business cards details are imported with combination of letters funny but useless

TRIED MANY CARDS UNDER OPTIMUM CONDITIONS AND ALL IT YIELDS IS ERRONEOUS SYMBOLS & CHARACTERS IN JUST A COUPLE FIELDS. DONt WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS. ITLL ONLY AGGREVATE YOU.

This app does work.. Scan shows a bunch of mumble-jumble in all the fields or doesnt show anything. I deleted this already which was only purchased 15 minutes ago.

Purchased 15min ago. Waste of time and money. Tried ten cards and not one worked. Good luck.

Once I finally got it to work, I corrected the fields that had symbols for letters and I was thrilled. Then I tried to add to native address, and it booted me out, every time. This app has potential. Fix the bugs  and im a happy camper. Thats why I gave it 2 stars.

This is the first review I have written. This app is so BAD I had to write about it. Doesnt work at all. It creates a contact of word jumble in the fields and is a waste. Had it not been free I would have been peeved.

Dont bother wasting the space for an app.....put something worthwhile on your iPhone instead! This app stinks so bad, definitely not a halfway decent OCR!

Like most reviewers here, I was unable to get this app to produce legible text. I tried multiple cards and none worked.

I tried a complex card and a simple card, and no go.

Do not get. Simple card clear text on card. It couldnt even read the large clear company name text. I wish I could get my dollar back!!!

Strange. When I downloaded it said "no reviews". I didnt see them until submitting a review. Something stinks either with app store or developer? First card scan I took in landscape. Processing never finished. I rebooted phone thinking app was frozen. Next scan I took vertical. Image looks somehow distorted/squeezed? This time OCR processing completed. Less than 10 percent text recognized. I tried three other cards in good lighting with same results. Summary: very poor OCR results. Not worth the time. My first negative app review. Fortunately, only a dollar lost.
